Free Spanish worksheets and printables

13 free PDFs for kids 4–9: Spanish worksheets by topic, the first-words lists in Spanish and French, and Spanish coloring pages. Every word list has an English meaning and a say-it guide for each word.

Worksheets work best after your child has heard the words. Every worksheet here belongs to a page where each word can be played in Lumi's voice, so the routine is simple: listen and say the words on the page, then print the worksheet a few days later to see what stuck. The "Listen to the words" link under each PDF opens that page, and the QR code on the last page of the PDF does the same from a phone.

For a 4- or 5-year-old, the word list and the matching page are plenty; say the words out loud while drawing the lines. From about 7, the writing page adds spelling. There is no answer key, because the word list on page 1 is the key.

Frequently asked questions

Are these Spanish worksheets really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no e-mail: each PDF downloads directly. You may print and copy them for home and class use; please don't sell them.

Can teachers use them in class?

Yes. Print as many copies as your class needs. The topics follow the words young beginners learn first, so they suit FLES classes, homeschool groups and Spanish clubs.

Will they print on US Letter paper?

Yes. The PDFs are A4; in the print window choose "Fit to page" or "Scale to fit" and nothing is cut off.

Which worksheet should we start with?

Colors, numbers or greetings. They are the easiest to practice during the day, and each has games on its page. Then follow your child's interest: animals and food are favorites.

Where can my child hear the words?

On the page each PDF links to, where every word plays in Lumi's voice. The QR code on the last page of the PDF opens the same page on a phone.

From worksheet to conversation
