Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you use Lumi Kids, plus minute packs and refunds.

1. Parties and scope

The Lumi Kids mobile app and lumikids.live are provided by APPFUSION LABS. By downloading and using the app you accept these terms. The app is designed for children aged 4–9; the contracting party is the adult who installs the app and makes any purchase.

2. There is no account

The app requires no registration. Progress is stored against an anonymous identifier created on the device. If the device is lost or reset, progress cannot be recovered; purchased minutes can be restored through your App Store account with “Restore purchases”.

3. Free use and minute packs

  • The first world (Hello World) and 60 seconds of live conversation are free.
  • Minute packs (10, 30, 100 minutes) are one-off App Store purchases. They are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew.
  • Buying any pack permanently unlocks all 8 worlds of the first level.
  • Minutes are consumed second by second only during live conversation with Lumi. Lessons, games and reviews consume nothing.
  • Minutes do not expire as long as the device record exists.
  • The daily limit you set in the parent zone applies regardless of the balance purchased.

4. Payment and refunds

All purchases are made through the Apple App Store and charged by Apple; prices appear in your local currency. Refunds follow Apple’s policy and are requested at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a technical fault consumed your minutes unfairly, write to us and we will credit them back.

5. Acceptable use

You may not reverse-engineer the app, send automated or excessive requests to our endpoints, manipulate the minute or star system, or copy and redistribute the content. We may restrict device access if this happens.

6. About the content and the AI

Lumi’s live answers are generated by an AI model in the moment. We apply strict child-appropriate instructions and time limits, but we cannot guarantee every generated sentence is perfect. The app does not replace a teacher, a school or a therapist; consult a professional about concerns regarding language development. If you ever see an inappropriate answer, please report it — we treat such reports as a priority.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, artwork, the Lumi character, voices and software belong to APPFUSION LABS and may not be reproduced beyond personal, non-commercial use.

8. Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages, and in any case our liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the current version is always published here. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
